The legacy of excellence continues for James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School's Track and Field Team after another outstanding performance at the 2025 Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Track and Field Championships, hosted this year at York University. Known for producing elite-level athletes and dominating the provincial scene, McGuigan finished 3rd Overall in the Boys Division. This follows the 2nd overall in 2023, and winning the overall in 2024. JCM added to its growing reputation with four OFSAA medals 2 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze cementing its place as one of Ontario’s premier high school track programs.
This year’s success follows an incredible run over the past two years in which the school captured three OFSAA Team Championships. JCM athletes once again demonstrated exceptional talent, work ethic, and heart on one of the country’s biggest high school stages.
