Parent Council

Parents and guardians play a significant role in ensuring the success of our students.

Our Catholic School Parent Council (CSPC) provides a forum for families to understand, engage and support issues that affect the education of our students. Our CSPC is an elected group of parents, appointed representatives from faculty, parish, and community, who work together co-operatively to advise, support, and enrich the Catholic learning experience in our school, while at the same time promoting a healthy, safe and enjoyable environment for all students.

Throughout the year, the CSPC committee organizes and supports different events that help to create opportunities and incentives for students within the school. Some of these events include, fundraisers (chocolate, cookie), dance-a-thons, and an end of the year Family Fun Fair. The funds raised for these events are then donated to the school to fund specific initiatives such as: Scientists in the school, resources, home/book program, subsidies for class excursions and support of our Gotcha, student incentive program.

Our CSPC is committed to working with staff to build community and nurture the connection between the home and the school. This includes organizing a Mother's Day Liturgy and tea, a Father's Day Liturgy and breakfast, our community Advent mass, and our community Fun Fair. CSPC supports students receiving a sacrament and graduating students with a follow-up celebration and a memento.

CSPC Meeting Dates

All parents are welcome to attend our meetings. They are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Library.
