On May 9, 2025 (Friday), staff and students at Monsignor Percy Johnson Catholic Secondary School came together for the school’s Annual School Hug—an inspiring show of unity and compassion through the H.U.G.S. Program (Hope, Understanding, Gratitude, and Support), a meaningful initiative from the Meagan Bebenek Foundation.
Held at the end of Catholic Education Week, the event brought the entire school community together in solidarity for Pediatric Brain Tumor Awareness Day. As "Pilgrims of Hope", students and staff joined hands—literally and figuratively—to raise awareness and express their collective commitment to supporting children and families affected by pediatric brain tumors.
The Annual School Hug has become a cherished tradition at Monsignor Percy Johnson CSS, reinforcing the school’s values of empathy, faith, and community spirit.
