On April 25, 2025, the FLAME Social Justice Fashion Show once again set the Monsignor Percy Johnson (MPJ) stage ablaze, uniting our community in a powerful celebration of love, equity, hope, resilience, and faith. This year’s sold-out event featured over 40 models and 70+ student volunteers who brought the show to life through their servant leadership in media, photography, marketing, administration, stage production, sound editing, lighting, wardrobe, hair and makeup designs and more.
The evening began with a moving all-white angelic tribute, honouring children worldwide affected by war, famine, and poverty. This poignant opening set the tone for a night where fashion and purpose intersect. The "Matrix Meets in the Galaxy" theme then took flight, blending bold creativity with social consciousness—featuring a blend of leather and sequin; a culture and heritage segment, staff walk, followed by retro 80s glitz with a touch of neon energy, and a dazzling sequin finale. But FLAME is more than a fashion show—it’s a movement for change, and its impact has been recognized beyond MPJ.
We are proud to announce that FLAME has received the 2025 TCDSB Innovation Exemplary Practice Award, a testament to its transformative power.
