The 4th Annual Black Arts Night at Monsignor Percy Johnson Catholic Secondary School was a powerful and inspiring evening hosted by the MPJ Black Culture Club. The event brought students and community members together to celebrate Black culture through an incredible showcase of dance, music, and poetry.

The night was filled with energy and creativity as performers took the stage, confidently sharing their talents and stories. Each performance reflected passion, culture, and pride, making the evening both entertaining and meaningful. A special thank you to Malakai Anthony (aka Kingsz), who shared an amazing spoken word piece as an ode to the Rexdale community and MPJ, his performance was both heartwarming and inspirational.

In addition to the live performances, guests had the opportunity to explore a small art gallery featuring paintings that beautifully exemplified Black culture. The artwork, created by Black student artists and community members, added another layer of depth to the celebration.

Overall, Black Arts Night was a memorable event that highlighted artistic expression, unity, and cultural appreciation within the MPJ community.
