On November 5, Manulife honoured the fallen members of the Canadian Armed Forces with their annual memorial service, "Remembering the Fallen" at their global headquarters in Toronto. This service honours those who have lost their lives during wartime and peacekeeping missions. As a tribute to these brave individuals more than 12 000 flags are planted, with each flag representing 10 fallen members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The Junior Choir at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, led by Vocal Music teacher Ms. Chunying Chu, were invited to sing our National Anthem and the song "Remember Flanders Fields" at the ceremony. Afterwards, our students were praised for their beautiful performances by Manulife President and CEO, Phil Witherington.
