Last week, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School was filled with energy and excitement as the school community celebrated Carnaval. Each day featured a new theme, and it was wonderful to see students and staff participate with such spirit and enthusiasm.
From engaging activities like Bingo en français to a colourful parade and even a special visit from Bonhomme Carnaval, the school community fully embraced this vibrant celebration of French culture. Students also enjoyed delicious Shrove Tuesday pancakes, adding another fun tradition to close out the week. The school extends sincere thanks to Ms. Leticia, Ms. Pione, Ms. Michaels, and all parent volunteers for their support in making the Shrove Tuesday pancake celebration a success.
Merci beaucoup to the French teachers — Mme Chiodo, Mme Kwon, and Mme Arakelyan — for organizing this memorable week for students. Their dedication helped bring learning to life in an engaging and meaningful way.
