On Thursday, May 7th, the Our Lady of Wisdom community hosted a World Carnaval Night themed “Remembering Who We Are.”

The evening was a vibrant celebration of music, dance, food, and traditions from around the world. It honoured identity and heritage, highlighting the stories, values, and cultures that shape who we are and connect us as a school community. Through music, dance, language, and artistic expression, students shared meaningful pieces of their heritage, showcasing the beauty and richness of the many cultures represented within the school.

The evening began with a lively steel pan band performance while families enjoyed a variety of foods from around the world, including Jamaican beef patties, empanadas, pizza, spanakopita, roti, Buko Pandan, and Turon, among many others. The celebration continued with engaging student performances that brought energy and joy to the event.

We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Mabouama and Mme. Camellia for their leadership and vision, as well as to the entire Our Lady of Wisdom staff for their collaboration and dedication in making this evening a tremendous success.
