The Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic School community came together to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation through meaningful opportunities for learning, reflection, remembrance, and connection.

Students, led by our leadership team and staff, participated in thoughtful art projects, including the Orange Heart Project, and came together for a special assembly dedicated to honouring and remembering those affected by the residential school system.

We were also fortunate to have Mme B, who identifies as Métis, share a smudging ceremony with our school community. The ceremony offered a meaningful opportunity for reflection and connection as we gathered to listen, learn, and honour the importance of truth and reconciliation.

Through these experiences, our OLW community continues to create space for learning, healing, remembrance, and growth. 🧡
