On Saturday, May 25, members of the St. Agnes Intermediate Frisbee Team had the opportunity to play a short game as part of the half-time show of the Toronto Rush vs. Pittsburgh Thunderbirds at Lamport Stadium.
The St. Agnes Frisbee team was entered in a city-wide draw that had our school and team being one of the four schools selected to showcase their talents. Team members were very excited about representing their school and having the opportunity to play in front of a larger audience and field. In true Gator fashion, each team member demonstrated fair play and integrity both on and off the field. They showed excellent skill in executing plays and great teamwork. They embraced the experience with a very humble and positive attitude.
The entire St. Agnes school community is very proud of our teams efforts and performance! Special thank to our teachers, Mr. Steriovski and Mr. Merenda for providing our students with this exciting and rare opportunity for our St. Agnes Gators to showcase their talents!
