The Grade 7 students of St. Anthony Catholic School decorated the school halls for their Black History Month project, choosing a Black Canadian whose story truly stood out to them. They explored the challenges these individuals faced, the courage they showed, and the ways they became leaders, innovators, and changemakers in Canada. Students reflected on how their chosen figure made a difference in the world around them and how their legacy continues to inspire others today. This project encouraged students to learn history, and to connect with it in a meaningful and personal way.
