A group of students at St. Basil-the-Great College School have found common ground and mental health support through their Lego Club. The initiative was an idea conceived by Grade 11 student Caleb F. as a way to address mental health issues associated with the pandemic. It has continued since then to connect students across grades and skill levels, and allowed them to build emotional resilience, establish connections, explore their creativity, mentor each other, and develop their interpersonal skills. One of the Lego Club's projects involved building a large model of the St-Basil-the-Great school crest, designed by Caleb and made with over 10 000 pieces, which is now showcased at the school's entrance.
