Grade 11 student Nella K. from St. Basil-the-Great College School has once again proven her athletic excellence, winning gold in the senior girls’ pole vault at the 2025 Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Track and Field Championship.
The prestigious event took place from June 5 to 7 at York University’s Toronto Track & Field Centre, drawing top high school athletes from across the province. Nella’s final vault was an impressive 3.75 metres, securing her place at the top of the podium.
This marks Nella’s second consecutive OFSAA gold medal in pole vault and adds to her remarkable record, which includes a silver medal finish in Grade 9. Her consistency and determination continue to inspire her school community and fellow athletes.
