Students, families, staff, and community members gathered at St. Cecilia Catholic School on May 7 to celebrate Catholic Education Week with a lively and successful Math Night focused on learning, collaboration, and community spirit.

The evening featured a wide range of interactive activities designed to make mathematics both educational and enjoyable. Participants explored coding challenges, probability games, estimation activities, bingo, logic puzzles, and the crowd-favourite "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" challenge. The event created opportunities for students and families to learn together in a welcoming and faith-filled environment.

A special thank you was extended to the dedicated teachers, staff, and student leaders whose hard work and enthusiasm helped make the evening a success. St Cecilia student leaders played an especially important role throughout the event, demonstrating the Catholic Graduate Expectations through strong collaboration, communication, and leadership as they supported families and guided activities.

Math Night served as a meaningful celebration of learning, faith, and togetherness, highlighting the strong sense of social cohesion that continues to define the St. Cecilia Catholic School community.
