The Grade 7 students of St. Dorothy Catholic School continued their journey of "Growing in Truth and Love" this year by serving lunch to those in need at St. Francis Table on June 20 & 23, 2025.
All food drive proceeds from St. Dorothy this past year, and for many years, have supported St. Francis Table's work in the Parkdale community. The students were excited to contribute their Catholic Student Leadership skills, nurtured this past Spring at Camp Olympia, to the real world, over a very busy (and warm!) Friday and Monday in the kitchen and dining room. They prepared, plated, served and cleaned up, all in a full day's work of service to a beautiful and appreciative community.
We look forward to continuing this school tradition of service next year with Brother John and his team, and another group of student leaders!
