A group of students in a room with masks on and some Christmas decorations

Just before the Christmas holidays, Grade 6/7 students from St. Dorothy Catholic School brought joy and festive spirit to the residents and staff of Humber Valley Terrace Seniors’ Residence. In celebration of the virtue of Charity, students generously shared their time and talents with the senior community.

The students spent the afternoon travelling from floor to floor, filling the residence with the sounds of the season through Christmas songs and cheerful greetings. Residents warmly welcomed the visit and enthusiastically joined in, creating a joyful and memorable experience for everyone involved.

This meaningful outreach provided students with an opportunity to live out the values of compassion and service, while spreading Christmas cheer to those in the local community.
