Students and staff at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School came together to celebrate Earth Day with meaningful, hands-on activities focused on environmental stewardship.
One highlight of the day involved students from Ms. De Rango’s class, who took their learning outdoors by collecting garbage around the school property. Equipped with gloves and a strong sense of purpose, the students worked collaboratively to clean up their surroundings and make a visible difference in their community.
While the activity itself was simple, it sparked important conversations among students about their impact on the environment. Many began to reflect on how small, everyday actions, such as properly disposing of waste, can contribute to a healthier planet.
Staff members praised the initiative, noting that experiences like these help students develop a sense of responsibility in caring for their environment.
Earth Day at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School served as a reminder that even small efforts can lead to meaningful change, inspiring students to continue making environmentally conscious choices throughout the year.
