
Dress Code
All elementary schools in the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) follow a mandatory appropriate dress code. Below is a summary of what students are expected to wear at St. Jean de Brébeuf Catholic School.
Acceptable Clothing
Tops:
Plain white or navy blue collared shirts.
School-approved shirts with the St. Jean de Brébeuf logo (e.g., for special committees).
White or navy blue sweaters or hoodies (including laces) with no logos, graphics, or stripes.
Bottoms:
Navy blue pants, skirts, or walking shorts.
Skirts and shorts must be fingertip length or longer.
Physical Education (Grades 4–8):
Students are encouraged to bring a change of clothes for gym class.
Any colour t-shirts, shorts, or school jerseys may be worn during gym.
Students must change back into dress code attire after gym class.
Inappropriate Clothing
The following items are not permitted:
Denim jeans or tights
T-shirts (unless part of gym attire)
Clothing with logos, graphics, writing, or stripes
Non-collared shirts
Shorts or skirts that are shorter than fingertip length
Low-riding pants
Hoodies or sweaters with non-uniform colours or designs
