Students and staff at St. John Vianney Catholic School proudly celebrated Canada Day as part of their annual end-of-school-year tradition, marking the occasion with a sea of red and white and a strong sense of community.

On the final day of the school year, the school community gathered outdoors to commemorate Canada Day, with students and staff dressed in Canada's national colours. The celebration has become a cherished tradition at the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB), bringing everyone together to recognize the country's heritage while celebrating the conclusion of another successful academic year.

The festivities included a gathering in the schoolyard where the entire school community joined together to sing O Canada. The patriotic performance reflected the pride and unity shared by students and staff as they celebrated the nation and the friendships formed throughout the school year. Students enthusiastically showed their Canadian spirit, enjoying the opportunity to celebrate alongside classmates and teachers. The event provided a memorable conclusion to the school year, highlighting the values of community, respect, and national pride that are central to the school's culture.

As students begin their summer break, the annual Canada Day celebration once again served as a fitting send-off, leaving the school community with lasting memories of togetherness during the 2025–2026 school year. Have a great summer, everyone!
