On April 30, 2025 (Wednesday), St. Jude Catholic School proudly hosted its first-ever Taste of Jude Multicultural Night—a vibrant, student-led celebration of culture, community, and cuisine. The event drew over 400 guests and showcased more than 60 homemade dishes representing 13 different countries, generously prepared and donated by families from the school community.

Years in the making, Taste of Jude was a testament to student leadership, with students taking the lead in planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of the evening. Staff members such as Ms. Lepone, Ms. Marcoccia, Ms. Moretti, and Ms. Coronas played a key role in assisting with organizing and mentoring the students, helping to bring their vision to life.

To promote the event and its message, students created a striking banner that emphasized the school’s identity as a "rainbow nation": a place where diverse cultures and heritages come together in harmony under shared values. Special recognition goes to students Vanessa D., Malea S., Chad G., and Robert A. for their creativity and leadership in designing and painting the banner.

The success of the night was not just in numbers, but in spirit. With laughter, stories, and flavours from around the world, the event highlighted a powerful truth—that while we may come from different backgrounds, food is the one thing that unites us all.
