The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) is pleased to celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Month and National Volunteer Week in recognition of the invaluable role that volunteers play in the life of our Catholic schools. Students and staff across our Board are supported by volunteers each and every day, and we are grateful for their contributions and dedication to our school communities.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the families, friends, and individuals from our parishes and communities who share their time and talents with our schools. Each, in their own unique way, contributes to the success of our children and enriches the lives of our students.

We also celebrate the volunteer spirit that is evident among our own staff and students. We see them engaged in community service projects in their schools, neighbourhoods, parishes, and overseas, responding to the needs of those who are less fortunate. This generosity of spirit makes us very proud, and we thank them for continuing to exemplify our Catholic Graduate Expectations and for putting their faith into action.

May God continue to bless all our volunteers and the important work that they do with such compassion and love.
