Toronto Police Service and the Malvern community joined together with local faith and civic leaders for a powerful and uplifting Community Prayer Walk alongside St. Mother Teresa Catholic Academy.
The event, which took place directly in front of the school, brought together a diverse group of community leaders and officers from 42 Division. Walking side-by-side, participants demonstrated a shared commitment to building a safe, connected, and harmonious neighbourhood grounded in faith and community.
A deeply moving highlight of the event was a collective blessing for SMTCA’s leadership and school community. On behalf of the entire SMTCA community, Principal Andrew Peacock received a special blessing as community leaders and attendees gathered to offer prayers for guidance, strength, and wisdom in his continued leadership of the school.
It was a profound reminder of the strength found in supporting one another, and the SMTCA community is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of care shown to the school’s administration.
The spirit of unity extended to everyone who helps make the school community vibrant. Special prayers were offered for:
Dedicated staff, for their tireless energy, passion, and guidance.
Wonderful students, for their safety, growth, and bright futures.
Supportive families, for strength, health, and peace in their homes.
This beautiful event served as a powerful reminder that we are stronger together. SMTCA is proud to be part of this unified celebration and extends sincere gratitude to TPS 42 Division, local community leaders, and everyone who joined in prayer and partnership.
Thank you for walking with us!
