From May 4 to 8, St. Mother Teresa Catholic Academy proudly celebrated Catholic Education Week with the theme "Pilgrims of Hope: On the Path to Holiness." Throughout the week, the Chaplaincy students organized meaningful lunchtime activities that encouraged reflection, community, faith, and school spirit while connecting to each day’s special theme.
On Monday, students participated in "God Loves You", Monday's theme, by sharing uplifting messages through the Pins of Love, spreading positivity and encouragement throughout the school community.
On Tuesday, students reflected on the message "Peace Be With You" by contributing to the Chains of Hope, a collaborative display showcased near the Chapel.
Wednesday’s theme, "Christ Saves You," was celebrated with a special lunchtime liturgy in the chapel. Students and staff gathered together in prayer and reflection, taking time to deepen their faith during Catholic Education Week.
On Thursday, students embraced the theme "The Holy Spirit Lives in You" by demonstrating compassion and kindness through writing heartfelt letters to the elderly. This activity reminded students of the importance of serving others and sharing God’s love within the community.
The week concluded on Friday with the theme "Together on the Journey." Students came together in the atrium to participate in a variety of team-building mini games.
Catholic Education Week was a wonderful opportunity for the SMT community to come together in faith and hope while reflecting on the importance of compassion, service, and belonging. Thank you to the Chaplaincy team, Ms. Trabona, and all students and staff who participated and helped make the week so meaningful and memorable.
