St. Thomas More Catholic School was selected to receive a $2000 grant from Retired Teachers of Ontario (RTOERO). This money was to be used for the purchase of equipment supporting our school’s physical education program. We used the grant money on a variety of items such as new volleyballs, scooters, elephant skin balls and items supporting cooperative games. A portion of the funds was also used to purchase new sports jerseys so that our students could feel proud when representing our school! Go Tigers!

We are very grateful to RTOERO District 24 for selecting our school to receive this generous grant. In our February Virtue assembly, RTOERO District 24 member and former Principal of St. Thomas More, Paula Chambers, visited the school for a cheque presentation.
