Angelo Tocco, a dedicated teacher and member of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA), has been honored with the 2023 Carol McGregor CLC Disability Rights Award by the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC).
As a teacher, he has empowered students and workers with disabilities to raise awareness about barriers to accessibility and inclusion. Angelo's efforts extend beyond his profession, as he actively participates in committees and advisory boards focused on accessibility and diversity.
