The Endgame Dance Competition Finals was hosted at Dante Alighieri Academy on June 3, 2024 (Tuesday), welcoming over 400 attendees including 100 dancers from 8 Dance Teams in the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB). This competition showcased the incredible student talent throughout the TCDSB, as West and East finalists from our Knockout round held at St. Patrick’s on May 15th went head-to-head in a dance battle. The night included showcase performances from Kreative In Dance Styles studio as well as raffle prizes and scholarships from Studio North Dance Complex.
Endgame Dance Competition saw Dante Alighieri, St. Joseph’s College, St. Patrick, Senator O’Connor, St. John Henry Newman, James Cardinal McGuigan, Madonna, and Loretto College compete for the ENDGAME Championship. Congratulations to Synergy (Senator O’Connor) for winning 1st place, Coalesce (Dante) for placing 2nd, and M-Squad (Madonna) for taking 3rd! A special congratulations to Velocity (St. Patrick), Millenium (St. Joseph’s College), Hype (St. John Henry Newman), Diversity in Sight (Loretto College) and JCM Supernovas James Cardinal McGuigan)! The event was adjudicated by Jendayi Dyer, A.J. Harper, Melissa Marie, and Manpreet Singh.
A special thank you to all the teams that competed, their team moderators/teachers, family and friends, our judges, as well as our security and DJ Mr. Adrian DeSousa.
