On March 7, members of Neil McNeil High School's Marching Band were invited to The Sports Network (TSN) Studios by Neil alumni and TSN hockey producer Bill Dodson, to help celebrate "ODog" finally winning the Quiz championship, during the 1st intermission of the Leafs-Bruins game. The Band helped with the fanfare and celebrations to not only congratulate Jeff O'Neill's win but to introduce Leafs legend Doug Gilmour, who was the special guest on hand to present "ODog" with the championship belt. The boys had the incredible opportunity to perform on national television live on TSN, as well as to take a picture with the legend Doug Gilmour himself afterwards.
Their Band Director, Mr. Stepanian, was incredibly proud of the musicians, and so happy they could have this rare opportunity to be on live TV, to represent their music program, their school and their Board for fans across the country!
