This week, St. Benedict Catholic School's library hosted a Baby Jesus birthday party for the Kindergarten students. Ms. Scaccia organized a delightful day of games and activities.
As we wait in anticipation for the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, the celebration reminds us to draw closer to God in hope and love. The nativity is a beautiful reminder that God is always with us (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23).
The festivities sparked joy and laughter. Students gleefully sang Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus while enjoying a cupcake and hot chocolate. Our Junior/Senior Kindergarten group had a dance party, sang along to Christmas songs, played Pin the Tail on the Donkey, and went home with loot bags.
Jesus is the reason for the season!
Happy birthday, Baby Jesus!
