The St. Benedict Catholic School library celebrated Italian Canadian Heritage Month with a Pizza Nova Workshop. The Grade 3 students were treated to a pizza-making workshop combining fun and education in a memorable hands-on experience. Students had the opportunity to apply life skills by using measurements and learning about the various ingredients required to make pizza dough.

Pizza Nova demonstrated how to make authentic pizza and how to customize based on personal preferences. The presenter engaged students in a fun and interactive way, and the students enjoyed tossing dough in the air. The workshop allowed students to take home the recipe and tips they learned in order to recreate pizzas in the comfort of their own homes.

The Grade 3 classes also received a complimentary slice of pizza, making this a special end-of-year presentation.

That's Amore!
