Dress Code

The appropriate dress code consists of any combination of white and navy blue garments (i.e., plain white top, navy blue bottom; navy blue top and bottom; no denim).

Uniforms with the school logo are available for purchase but are not mandatory. Information is available at the school regarding these orders.

 The dress code is in effect each and every day for all students. Exceptions from this policy include:

  • Designated “School Spirit Days” / "Civvies Days".

  • Special permission with a written note from parents.

Students not adhering to the dress code will receive a warning note from school, a phone call home or a call from Administration to deliver a change of clothing to the school.

Dress Code in TCDSB Schools

All Elementary schools within the jurisdiction of the Board shall adopt an Appropriate Dress Code or Uniform Dress Code.

All Secondary schools within the jurisdiction of the Board shall adopt a Uniform Dress Code.

Parents are encouraged to review the local dress code at their child’s school and to direct their questions to the principal of the school.
