St. Francis Xavier Catholic School

Parent Council

The St. Francis Xavier Catholic School Parent Council (CSPC) is an elected group of parents, elected representatives among school staff, parish, and community, who work together cooperatively to advise, support, and enrich the Catholic learning experience at our school while, at the same time, promoting a healthy, safe, and enjoyable environment for all students. Our CSPC is committed to working with staff to build community and nurture the connection between the home and the church.

The focus of the CSPC is: fundraising, special events, and issues that have a direct impact on the students of our school. The CSPC organizes and supports different events that help to create opportunities and incentives for students within the school. The funds raised for these events are then donated to the school to fund specific initiatives such as: resources, home/book program, subsidies for class excursions, student agendas, and other special resources to enhance programming at our school.

As parents and teachers, we recognize that community involvement and support are integral parts of our children’s educational experience. CSPC is our opportunity to influence what happens in our school in a positive and supportive manner. CSPC is an ideal way to support our school community and be involved in enriching your own child’s educational experience.

All parents are welcome to attend CSPC meetings. They are held once a month at 7:00 PM in the school staffroom.
