This February, we are proud to introduce the One Love Club at St. John Bosco Catholic School, a supportive and inclusive initiative designed to help students strengthen their social skills in a positive, structured environment. Guided by our motto, "Kindness in Every Hand, Love in Every Heart," the club focuses on nurturing respectful communication, sharing, turn-taking, problem-solving, cooperative play, and the development of healthy peer relationships.
Through guided activities, intentional modeling, and collaborative experiences, students are given opportunities to practice empathy, kindness, and effective communication in a safe space where they feel seen, valued, and connected. In addition, selected student helpers have been chosen to support and mentor our younger students, fostering leadership, responsibility, and a deeper sense of community across grade levels.
A special thank you to Ms. Ashley, our Child and Youth Worker (CYW), and Ms. Giovinazzo for their leadership and support in bringing this initiative to life alongside the Principal. Their dedication helps ensure that every student feels supported, included, and empowered to grow.
