Andrew Chung, better known as “Pyro,” is widely recognized in the street dance community as a true Jack of all Trades. Since 2006, he has won more than 20 dance battles across North America in multiple styles, earning a strong reputation and becoming an influential figure in Toronto’s street dance culture.
Over the last five weeks, Pyro has been sharing his love and passion for Hip Hop dance with our students. Grades 4–8 participated in weekly workshops where they learned foundational moves, explored Hip Hop culture, and worked together to master a class routine.
Today, they performed with incredible pride and confidence. Pyro’s energy, talent, and storytelling truly inspired our learners. His visit brought the art of Hip Hop to life, and the school performance was absolutely amazing—our students were fully engaged, excited, and eager to continue exploring this vibrant culture.
