School History

St. John XXIII Catholic School opened in September 1972 with 240 students. Before the school building was ready, students and staff were accommodated at St. Anselm and St. Bonaventure Catholic Schools.

By fall 1973, the school building was ready, and the official opening took place in spring 1974. Enrollment steadily grew, leading to a building addition in 1982. The school reached its peak enrollment of 720 students in 1984.

Our Patron Saint

Named after Pope John XXIII, one of the most beloved modern popes, our school reflects his legacy of peace, unity, and compassion. Canonized in 2014, his teachings continue to inspire our diverse and multicultural community. His feast day is celebrated on October 11.
