Students and staff at St. Margaret Catholic School joined together in solidarity with Ontario’s Children’s Aid Societies to mark Dress Purple Day, an initiative led by the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies (OACAS).
The annual campaign raises awareness about the collective responsibility to support vulnerable children, youth, and families across the province. By wearing purple, the St. Margaret community proudly demonstrated its commitment to creating safe, caring, and inclusive environments for all children.
This day holds special meaning for the school, serving as a reminder of the importance of compassion, respect, and protection for every child. Through their participation, students and staff reaffirmed their shared belief that every young person deserves to grow up in a community where they are valued, supported, and safe.
