The excitement was electric as St. Margaret Catholic School captured the Girls Volleyball championship title at the James Cardinal McGuigan High School High Performance Athletics (HPA) Rising Stars Circuit of Tournaments. Competing against seven other talented schools, St. Margaret CS demonstrated outstanding teamwork, skill, and determination throughout the competition, culminating in a hard fought victory over St. Francis De Sales CS, the tournament’s worthy runner-up.
Under the leadership of their legendary Head Coach, Rime Boulos, the St. Margaret’s team showcased their athletic excellence, as well as their sportsmanship and dedication. Coach Boulos’s guidance and passion for the game were evident as the team played with confidence, discipline, and heart, embodying the true spirit of Catholic school athletics.
Throughout the tournament, players from all participating schools displayed remarkable skill, energy, and teamwork, proving that the future of athletics within the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) is bright. These young athletes are not only stars in the making, but also the future leaders in the TCDSB sports landscape, carrying forward the values of dedication, respect, and excellence that define Catholic education.
The HPA Rising Stars Circuit, hosted by James Cardinal McGuigan High School, continues to provide an incredible platform for young athletes to grow, compete, and develop their love for sport.
