St. Margaret Catholic School proudly partnered in hosting the recent Proudly Pinoy Pancit Fest, a vibrant community event that brought together members from across the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) community to celebrate Filipino culture while raising funds for important educational initiatives.
The fundraiser was a great success, attracting strong community participation and support. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Angel Foundation for Learning (AFL) and help establish bursaries for future aspiring teaching candidates of Filipino heritage.
Organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to the event’s success. Through their generosity, community members are helping to create opportunities for the next generation of educators and supporting students who aspire to make a difference in the field of education.
Beyond its fundraising goals, the Pancit Fest showcased the richness of Filipino culture, fostering community connections and celebrating traditions that continue to inspire and unite people from diverse backgrounds.
St. Margaret Catholic School is proud to have been part of this meaningful partnership and looks forward to continuing initiatives that support education, multiculturalism, and community engagement.
