Students from Chaminade College School had the opportunity to visit the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport to participate in the Asian Canadian Roundtable, hosted by the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education.

The event featured distinguished speakers including Dr. Daniel Do, Professor Gretchen Kerr, and Dr. Vivienne Po, who shared their personal and professional experiences in the field of Kinesiology. Students also took part in interactive workshops and demonstrations such as Lion Dancing, Karate, Olympic weightlifting, Dragon Boat, and virtual reality.

This enriching experience highlighted the significant contributions of Asian Canadians to sport and physical activity, leaving Chaminade College School students inspired and with a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and high-performance sport. Thank you to Ms. Achong and Ms. Jamil and all the Chaminade College School students who attended the Asian Canadian Roundtable.
