On December 12, we honour Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of Mexico and Empress of the Americas.
In 1531, Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill, speaking in his language and offering a message of hope and compassion. As a sign of her presence, roses miraculously bloomed in winter, and her sacred image was imprinted on Juan Diego’s tilma.
For millions of people around the world, La Virgencita remains a powerful symbol of faith, protection, identity, and hope.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Zmak and Ms. Kunyckyj for preparing the beautiful altar in honour of this important feast day.
