Chaminade College School welcomed the Stronger Together Hockey program for a dynamic and inspiring student presentation centered on leadership, teamwork, perseverance, inclusion, and community.
This high-energy event brought together respected athletes, community leaders, and special guests to engage students in meaningful conversations about finding their path, overcoming challenges, and building strong connections both in school and in life. Through interactive discussions, personal stories, and student participation, the program highlighted how the lessons learned through sports and teamwork can inspire success far beyond the game.
Featured speakers and guests included:
Mario Bellissimo- Founder and community leader, who shared powerful messages about leadership, belonging, resilience, and strengthening community.
Mike Wilson - Former NHL player and coach, who spoke about teamwork, decision-making, discipline, and the many opportunities available through sport.
Special guest speakers included Rick Vaive and Kalley Armstrong, who shared personal journeys of perseverance, determination, inclusion, and success.
Chaminade College students had the opportunity to participate in live discussions, interactive activities, and a student Question and Answer session with guest speakers. The presentation is designed to inspire all students, including those with little or no prior exposure to hockey while reinforcing the importance of respect, collaboration, confidence, and community involvement.
The Stronger Together Hockey program emphasizes that every individual has a role to play and that success is built through connection, contribution, and teamwork.
