Congratulations to the Chaminade College School Chess Team on an outstanding finish to the season.
The Gryphons closed out the year in championship fashion, earning first place overall out of 16 teams at their final tournament, held at St. Basil’s. This impressive result reflects months of dedication, preparation, strategic thinking, and teamwork.
Throughout the season, team members demonstrated excellence both on and off the board, competing with determination, integrity, and exemplary sportsmanship. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work and commitment of every player.
