Congratulations to Gabriel B., a graduating student from Chaminade College School, who has been awarded a prestigious $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship to pursue physics studies at McMaster University this fall.

Gabriel, a Grade 12 student, is among 100 students across Canada selected this year to receive one of the country's most sought-after undergraduate scholarships for students pursuing studies in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). His selection marks a milestone for Chaminade College School, as he becomes one of the school's few nominees to receive a Schulich Leader Scholarship.

The Schulich Leader Scholarships are awarded annually to students demonstrating outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and entrepreneurial potential. The program provides 50 scholarships valued at $100,000 each for students pursuing science, technology, or mathematics programs at participating Canadian universities.

Gabriel will attend McMaster University this fall, where he plans to continue his studies in a STEM-related field.

"We are proud to welcome Gabriel [B.] as a Schulich Leader, joining a national community of exceptional students," said Judy Schulich, president of The Schulich Foundation. "[His] STEM dedication will support innovation and growth."

The scholarship program, established by Canadian business leader and philanthropist Seymour Schulich, is considered one of the most prestigious undergraduate STEM awards in Canada.
