Chaminade College School is excited to announce a new partnership with York University Men’s Soccer Program beginning in September 2027, providing Chaminade C.S. student-athletes with a valuable opportunity on and off the field.
The Cham York Soccer Program (CYSP) is only the second school in Ontario, and the only single-gender school, to offer a soccer-specific program in the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) that partners with one of Canada’s leading universities. The program will provide students with elite training and mentorship from national, provincial and club-level coaches.
This curriculum-based program will allow students to enrol in soccer-focused physical education courses, including PAL Healthy Living Large Group Activities, each year. These courses will help students develop their soccer skills while also providing leadership opportunities in the community.
Students will have the opportunity to receive training from FIFA-certified coaches several days a week through the program. They will also participate in other curriculum-based learning experiences through the York University Men’s Soccer Program.
