For more than 15 years, Chaminade College School's Homecoming Football Game has stood as one of the most anticipated events of the school year. More than just a pair of football games, Homecoming is a celebration of school spirit, tradition, community and pride—bringing together our students, staff, alumni, families and supporters for an unforgettable evening.
This year promises to continue that tradition as the Chaminade Gryphons take to the field for two exciting matchups. The Junior Gryphons will face the Western Tech Colts at 6:30 PM, followed by the Senior Gryphons taking on the Michael Power Trojans at 8:30 PM.
Homecoming is a showcase of the pride that surrounds the Chaminade football program. Year after year, the program has provided students with an opportunity to compete, build friendships, demonstrate leadership and represent their school. The atmosphere surrounding Homecoming reflects the commitment and hard work of the players, coaches, student-athletes and everyone who supports the program.
What makes the evening particularly special, however, is the community involvement. Homecoming brings the entire Chaminade community together. The stands fill with students cheering on their classmates, families supporting their children, alumni returning to their school and staff members celebrating the students they have watched grow. The energy, enthusiasm and sense of belonging make this event much more than a football game.
As the Gryphons prepare for another Homecoming, the message is simple: come out, wear your Chaminade colours and be part of the tradition. Whether you are a current student, graduate, parent, staff member or longtime supporter, Homecoming is an opportunity to celebrate what makes the Chaminade community special.
