Adrian A., a Grade 10 student from Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School, has been named Athlete of the Week by CityNews680. Adrian is currently on Father Henry Carr's senior basketball team, which is undefeated and finished first overall in the Toronto District Catholic Athletic Association (TDCAA). In grade 9, Adrian was the captain of the junior team, which was undefeated and won the TDCAA Championship. This year, Adrian is a starting forward and has led the team in various categories including points (24 points a game) and rebounds. His skills extend beyond the basketball court, as he is an honour roll student with a Grade 9 average of 90%.
