Yesterday, the Father Henry Carr Senior Boys Basketball Team clinched the AAA Championship in a thrilling match against Neil McNeil. The game, held at Father Henry Carr, culminated in a resounding victory for the home team, with a final score of 79 to 61.
Grade 12 student Christian Pano emerged as the standout performer, leading the game in scoring. The event was graced by the presence of Superintendent Mr. Walo, representing the TCDSB, who officiated the championship ceremony for both teams.
Remarkably, the Senior Basketball team completed an undefeated season, showcasing their exceptional skill and teamwork. Their next challenge awaits at the OFSAA Championship in Stoney Creek, scheduled from March 4 to March 6, where they will represent the TDCAA.
