On April 11 (Thursday), the Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School's Drama Team performed in the Regionals at the National Theatre School DramaFest! They performed Bethany R.’s original play, “Somebody See Me”, directed by Katie B.. The team took home two awards for their performance. Katie B. received The Outstanding Director’s Award, and Katie B. and Beatrice J. received the Award of Excellence for Lighting and Sound!

We would love to recognize some of the talented students for the past Awards in the District Round:

  • District Award for Outstanding Production to the Cast and Crew of "Somebody See Me".

  • District Award of Merit for Musical Performance and Composition to Bethany R., Kemi O., Anulika E. and JoyGold G..

  • District Award of Excellence for Multidisciplinary Creation/Playwriting to Bethany R., Kemi O., Samuel F., and Asia T. T..

  • District Award for MVP for their dedication to the NTS DramaFest to Kemi O..

We are so proud of the entire cast and crew of “Somebody See Me” for their success at the National Theatre School DramaFest Districts and Regionals displaying their commitment and talent as they shared their story through the arts. Congratulations FHC Drama Team!
