Father Henry Carr Catholic Secondary School held a special assembly to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by one of its own – JoyGold Goodluck, recipient of the prestigious 2025 Loran Scholarship. The event was a heartfelt tribute to JoyGold’s academic excellence, leadership, and unwavering commitment to community service.
The assembly was attended by students, staff, and distinguished guests including Toronto City Councillor Vincent Crisanti, TCDSB Trustee Joseph Martino, TCDSB Director of Education Dr. Brendan Browne, and several superintendents. Each took to the stage to speak about JoyGold’s inspiring journey, highlighting her dedication to academic rigor, integrity, and social impact.
