We are thrilled to share some incredible news from the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) Track & Field Championships, where after three days of fierce competition featuring the best athletes from across Ontario, Father Henry Carr has made history once again.
Our Senior Boys Relay Team - Nahshon H., Prince A., Adnan J., Jahleel H., and Nehemiah O. sprinted their way to victory in the 4x100m relay, finishing with a time of 41.14 seconds. This remarkable performance broke the previous OFSAA and interscholastic Canadian record, which was also held by Father Henry Carr since 2016 at the University of Windsor. It is an extraordinary achievement that we expect to stand strong for years to come.
Throughout the competition, all of our athletes represented Henry Carr with pride, determination, and excellence. Many achieved personal bests and showed unwavering perseverance, pushing themselves to be the best they can be. We could not be prouder of their accomplishments, both on and off the track.
This season has been one of excellence and tradition for Father Henry Carr Track, and we look forward to continuing this legacy.
A heartfelt thank you to our Principal Mr. Malfitano for his steadfast support throughout the season. The team also extends its gratitude to Mr. Yammine, Ms. Murad, Ms. Parda, Bako Mikhael , Jonathan Matti, Fabian Matturro, Bryan Addo, all the alumni, and Coach Peter Miller - your presence in person made a difference.
A special thank you as well to all the staff who took the time to wish our athletes well- your support has not gone unnoticed.
As a school community, let’s take a moment to celebrate this historic milestone. We are so proud of what our athletes have accomplished, and we thank you for being part of this journey with them.
