On June 16, we had the privilege of celebrating a moment that will go down in Father Henry Carr (FHC) history - the incredible achievement of our senior boys 4x100m relay team.
In front of their peers, Nahshon, Prince, Adnan, Jahleel, and Nehemiah were honored for a season defined by excellence, determination, and teamwork. These young men didn’t just win gold at Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) on June 6, 2025; they shattered the OFSAA record and broke the Canadian interscholastic record
What makes this achievement even more special is that the previous OFSAA record was also held by FHC, which was set back in 2016.
In a full-circle moment, two members of that 2016 relay team joined us for the celebration. They shared heartfelt congratulations and expressed their joy in seeing the record broken once again and kept within the FHC family.
To honor this historic accomplishment, each athlete was presented with a commemorative tracksuit and shoes, and a reception was held with their families to recognize the hard work and heart behind their success.
This team has not only redefined what success looks like; they’ve inspired our entire school community with their unity, humility, and pursuit of greatness.
